who beats you up emotionally and spiritually???

In answer to your question about who beats me up emotionally and spiritually, it's not like any one person does this, sometimes my emotions just get really raw and feel like they've been attacked...

Emotionally - I'm a very sensitive person and I find that I have to watch how I react to people's comments. I can get "beaten up" really quickly. It's mostly just realizing that I don't have to let it control my emotions. I'm working on it.

Spiritually - I think that we're all under spiritual attack in some way or other, we just don't always realize it. It seems that just when you think you've figured it out you feel like you take a step back. For us it's in the financial arena. Once we make the decision to be content and do things the way God wants us to, I find that there's an onslaught of things, our car breaks down, we find out that we have to pay income tax, etc. But instead of it discouraging us, we are choosing to have a good attitude and stand firm in our decisions and let the enemy see that he cannot steal our joy and that we will not waver in our decisions. It's a hard place to be, but I guess it's showing small growth in a very difficult area for me. A month or two ago, I would have been beaten and discouraged.
