So I'm completely in love with chick rock, chick bands, whatever you want to call it. A few new ones have recently come to my attention and I've found my soul music!!! I just want to stand up and belt out the music from my core. Which is really funny cause I'm totally paranoid about anyone hearing me sing. Yet my longstanding joke is "hey Jer, we should start a band" to which he is SOOOO in favor of, but I'm just kidding. Some of my new favorite bands are: Plumb (not so new favorite, but worth the mention), Flyleaf, Fireflight, and Barlow Girl. What these women are doing is so awesome. They are making a name for themselves and giving girls an alternative to negative music which fuels the depression and giving them hope. Plus they just rock...

- My favorite quote used to be "laughter is the best medicine unless you are really sick, then you should call 911." I lived it fully. Somewhere along the way I lost that laughter and joy, the smile just below the surface. Recently I've surrounded myself with people who bring that out in me again. Jogging Progress
This is where I'm going to track the length of time and hopefully soon, the distance I can jog at a time. I started in April with walking 5 minutes, jogging 30 seconds and then repeating this four or five times. My goal is to jog 2 miles without stopping.
July 6/07 - Jogged 2 MILES (in 25 minutes)!!!!!!! That was my goal. I need a new goal now.
